Countries should cancel the expedition permits of Russian climbers for 2022. And certainly no one should be going to Barneo this year for polar ski trips or marathon running whether or not Russia opens the base. It is of course correct that not all Russians agree with Putin, however there must be state isolation and that unfortunately has individual consequences.

Dude, seriously. There's racism EVERYWHERE. I'm a brown person living in PL for the last 10 years. When I go back to my country of origin, I see racism against people 1 tone darker than we are. Poland is taking in hundreds of thousands of people. Most of my friends and family have sheltered people running away from the invasion, including people from Africa and Asia. Stop spreading nonsense. Poland is not turning away anyone. There has been disgusting cases of racism - but it's not the norm. All refugees are welcome.

stupid nonsense, I hear that interviews in CNN, they complaining that had to walk 20km and wait 2-3 days to cross the border... but everyone have to, mothers with kids went the same route that took them 2-3 days to cross the border. And on the crossing the priority is for mother, kids and elderly people, those that complains are young students so not surprised that they had to wait... it is emergency situation. For me it sounded as complains from spoiled kids :/

Hopefully all those folks opening their homes as shelters also have space for all the black and brown people who are being refused entry into trains and other means of escape out of Ukraine and told to go to the back of the line because of the colour of their skin.

War truly brings out the worst in humankind, not just amongst the persecutors.
